Sergei Zhigalko ((ベラルーシ語:Сяргей Жыгалка); born March 28, 1989 in Minsk)〔(GM title application ) FIDE〕 is a Belarusian chess grandmaster. He won the Belarusian Chess Championship in 2009, 2012 and 2013.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://ratings.fide.com/tournament_report.phtml?event16=75933&t=0 )〕 Zhigalko won the 2003 European Under-14 Championship and the 2006 European Under-18 Championship. He has competed in four Chess Olympiads (2008, 2010, 2012, 2014). He competed in the Chess World Cup 2007 as one of the five FIDE President's nominees and was knocked out in the first round by Krishnan Sasikiran.
